Fensport GR Yaris 2026 Season

Really looking forward to 2026, it's going to be a tough year with the competition definitely hotting up! We now have 10 cars in our Pro class in the sprints. And new for 2026 is the inclusion of the Japanese Sprint Championship which runs within the Javelin Sprint Series.

Race Report: 3rd Overall at Blyton Park 12/04/26
Great to be back racing again! finishing 3rd overall in both Javelin & Japanese Sprint Championship.

It was a hard day's racing with cold and blustery weather which then turned to rain.

Our GR Yaris was not well :( handling wasn't good and neither was speed or response, we battled through the day to secure 3rd but was keen to get back to workshop and find out the issue! Which turned out to be failed wishbone bushes allowing too much toe in, the speed problem turned out to be the turbocharger which couldnt be fixed until after Croft..

Race Report: 2nd Overall at Croft Circuit 24/05/26
Race report from round 2 at Croft Circuit 😎 short version Adrian finished 2nd overall in the GR Yaris🏆 In more detail, it was hot, well hot for the UK, some 32 degrees and Adrian has been struggling with lack of boost pressure, we have the new Garrett G25-700 turbo and since fitting it we've lost boost both response and top end power, investigations to follow!

The new BC ZR 3 way adjustable suspension and more aggressive alignment has seen the handling improve, it rides and drives so smoothly and even braking at 100 board on the bumps the car was perfectly composed! So Adrian had to push in the braking zones and corners to try and keep up with the faster cars!

Congratulations to Andy Hughes in his mighty Impreza who took the win 👏 Adrian in 2nd and congratulations to Callum Holme in his Impreza in 3rd place just half a second behind 👏

We'll be back for Cadwell on the 4th July and hopefully our Yaris has all it's boost back!

Race Report: 2nd overall at Cadwell Park 04/07/26
Our GR Yaris is fixed, the G25-700 turbo is in the bin and we have re-installed the G25-660 and its way better on both response and top end power. The yaris ran perfect all day and Adrian set a new personal best time of 1:22.51 some 1.13s faster than last year, it still wasn't quite enough to beat Andy Hughes in his awesome 900hp Impreza!

Race Report: TOTB 19/07/26

We had a fantastic return to Ten of the Best with Adrian driving the Fensport GR Yaris and what a result...

✅1st overall in Circuit

✅8th overall in Drag with a 10.86 quarter mile.

✅8th overall in top speed at half mile with 151mph.

✅6th overall on points

We were very happy to be back at this event after many years of it clashing with our normal championships. TOTB is so diverse and there's a crazy range of cars, from turbo'd vans and diesels to highly tuned Mclarens, always fun to compete with.

The Yaris ran perfect all day and here's a breakdown of each discipline...

Handling /Circuit: Qualifying went really well and P1, then there is a 2 run shootout between the top 5 drivers and Adrian hit a cone on the first run, luckily was clean on the 2nd, but this handed Brian Coward in his Impreza the top spot. After this it was Adrian vs Brian in the final and Adrian just pipped Brian to the overall win.

Top speed: The yaris is not really setup for this so only 1 run was done, the front splitter was on the ground at 151 mph, so it proves it works!

Quarter mile: rusty driver took 3 runs to get down to a 10.86 at 130mph, a pretty respectable time considering the negative camber we run and circuit spec aero! 60ft time was 1.9 seconds so more to come if we do it again.

Big congratulations to Brian , and a special mention to Dimitrij in his Minisuber who also was at the top of the times in Circuit, only to miss out in the finals due to tyre wear 👏

Race report: 1st Overall at Blyton Park - Eastern Circuit - 02/08/26

We had a brilliant day at round 4 of the Japanese Sprint Championship and Javelin Sprintdays and the Yaris ran faultlessly all day. It was a very hot 28 degree day which actually works for us, the GR Yaris finds even more grip and we run water / meth injection so intake temps doesn't bother us.

Adrian set off with a low boost no launch banker run, a 1:02.12 run which was 2nd to Andy Hughes who ended up cracking a brake disc.

On the next run, Adrian gave it everything, high boost, full launch and claimed first overall with a 1:00.78, then on later runs backed it up with a 1:00.76, and a 1:00.75, talk about a robotic driver!

An incredible result with Adrian claiming the overall sprint track record 3 times!

Congratulations to Andy Hughes in 2nd shame about the brake disc failure! And Callum Holme in his Impreza in 3rd, just half a second covered the top 3 drivers 👏

Next Sprint is a double header at Anglesey on the 5th and 6th of September 🤞
